"Taking you from Know-How to Show-How". The city of Jönköping, Sweden will host the 3rd edition of World Bioenergy Conference & Exhibition on 27-28-29 May 2008. This major global bioenergy get-together shall combine conference sessions, field excursions and tradeshow into one comprehensive event.
The 2nd edition of World Bioenergy in 2006 gathered 1168 conference delegates from 60 countries from all over the world. Some 4200 persons visited the exhibition, and 64 study visits were performed at a wide range of bioenergy sites.
The purpose of the 2008 event is to promote the commercial implementation of bioenergy technologies and solutions.

BIOENERGY 2007, the International Bioenergy Conference & Exhibition shall be held in Jyväskylä, Finland in the period 3,4,5,6 September 2007. The Conference will focus on the factors affecting the future of the bioenergy, biopower and biobased modern technologies and products, including logistic systems, management, total procurement chains, the effects of the energy market, the influence of green marketing and other trends affecting forestry, agriculture, industry and climate. Ministero dell'Ambiente e Tutela del Territorio e del Mare, Bando per la promozione delle fonti rinnovabili per la produzione di energia elettrica e/o termica tramite agevolazioni alle piccole e medie imprese. Prevista corresponsione di contributi in conto capitale per realizzazione delle seguenti tipologie di impianti:
- impianto fotovoltaico connesso alla rete di potenza nominale 20 < 50 kWp;
- impianto eolico connesso alla rete di potenza nominale 20 < 100 kWp;
- impianto solare termico per la produzione di acqua calda sanitaria, per il riscaldamento e raffrescamento degli ambienti, per la fornitura di calore di processo a bassa temperatura e per il riscaldamento delle piscine (incentivati impianti che impiegano collettori piani vetrati, sottovuoto e piani non vetrati di sup. lorda 50 < 500 m2, i.e. 35 < 350 kW);
- impianto termico a cippato o pellets da biomasse, per produzione di calore, di potenza nominale 150 < 1000 kW.

The conference aimed to present the important role that RE research plays in Europe, and to enhance awareness among stakeholders of the opportunities ahead. Key European success stories were analysed, and the existing and planned European RE technology platforms on PV, biofuels and wind were presented. A particular emphasis was placed on learning from national research programmes and examining possibilities to stimulate coordination.
